Garden Cottage


A detached cottage with its own garden set in four acres of land comprising meadows, woodland and orchard enjoying a secluded position on the edge of the Exmoor National Park.

The cottage sleeps six people and has two double bedrooms and one twin, dining room, sitting room with satellite television and DVD and a fully equipped kitchen including an electric cooker, washing machine, microwave and radio/cd, all decorated and finished to a high standard.  Both lounge and dining room have woodburning stoves, giving a relaxed and cosy atmosphere.

Bed linen and towels are supplied.  The bathroom, which has a shower and bath, is on the ground floor and there is an additional toilet downstairs.  A cot, safety gate and high chair are available on request.  There are electric radiators in every room.  Car parking space is available for up to three cars.

The medieval village of Dunster is just a ten minute stroll away, providing a selection of pubs, restaurants, tearooms, small shops, castle, watermill and other interests.

Garden cottage is ideally situated for touring Exmoor and for woodland, coastal and moorland walks.  Within a few miles radius there are lots of activities available including horse riding, fishing, cycling, golf, fossiling and deer watching - in fact deer are often seen from the cottage itself.

The town of Minehead is only a few miles away with its beach, harbour, shops, restaurants, theatre and steam railway.

The owners, Linda and Alan Puxley live in the adjacent cottage and are only too pleased to welcome you on your arrival and be of any help during your stay.

Rates per week are from £439.00 and are reduced by £10.00 per night for two persons or less.  Short breaks (minimum two nights) are available between November and March - rates on request.
